Meal number 1
BOILED EGG |
Breakfast is ready!!!!
I woke up to my favourite type of cornflakes and a slice
of toasted
bread, spread evenly with strawberry jam, and a boiled egg, all just to be washed down by a glass of cold milk.
Wow. I was quite impressed as my helper was new and she knew what I liked best
for breakfast. I was quite famished, since it was just two days after returning
from a Girl Guides camp, and I did not eat much as I did not feel hungry. I
wolfed everything down at once, not leaving behind even a morsel.

Meal Number 2
It was time for lunch! I had noodles, salad and a bowl
of rice balls. The noodles were great and I added a bit of tomato sauce to it. Though the salad dressing
tasted blend, like dissolved vinegar, I
thought that the vegetables
were nice. The rice balls were the best, and I had to eat it slowly as to make it last. They were the best
as not only were they sweet, but they were the small, multi-coloured ones. As I
loved those the best, my aunt had made them just specially for me. Also, I had a very tiring day at school so all that I wanted to do was to come back home and chill with my favourite things such as sweet Rice Balls.
COOL RICE BALLS FOR LUNCH |
Meal number 3
Today’s dinner. Indian-style cooked Tilapia fish!!! Normal,
steamed white rice, and vegetables. The Tilapia fish was, to my utmost delight,
not spicy at all. My paternal grandmother cooked the fish along with my aunt. My grandmother was sort of guiding my aunt on how to cook a Tilapia fish the Indian way so that next time we get Tilapia again, my aunt can surprise my grandmother. I was afraid to eat it at first. It looked like it had so
much chilli!! I am not able to take spicy food. If not, I will throw up. Well, maybe I can take a bit, but still! But as I
really like fish, I had the sudden urge to try it. I went with my instincts and I
tried a small piece. It was good. Although I was delighted that it was not spicy, I was quite surprised as normally, if my grandmother cooks, she will add in a lot of chilli. And by a lot, I mean ALOT!!!! All the time when my father eats his food, he says it is not spicy, but I could almost see and sense steam coming out from his nose and ears, and fire coming out of his mouth was no exception. By that, I secretly think that he is lying straight from his mouth but as my grandmother was my father's mother, I guess I can't complain about anything. Yet.
